Responsibilities

• Advise management and business stakeholders on legal, regulatory, and governance matters.
• Develop and implement legal policies, frameworks, and compliance initiatives.
• Draft and review legislation, subsidiary legislation, and regulatory instruments.
• Provide legal interpretation and guidance on applicable laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and corporate agreements.
• Vet tender documents, memoranda of understanding, tenancy agreements, and related legal documents.
• Establish and maintain internal legal processes, guidance materials, and legal knowledge repositories.
• Manage legal risks and advise on potentially contentious or dispute-related matters.
• Coordinate and liaise with external legal counsel on legal matters and proceedings.
• Support special projects and undertake additional legal assignments as required.

Requirements

• Law degree and admission to the Singapore Bar or other Commonwealth jurisdictions.
• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification legal experience.
• Experience in corporate legal work and contract law is an added advantage.
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and advising on commercial contracts and legal documents.
• Experience providing legal advice on regulatory, corporate, and governance matters.
• Strong analytical, legal research, drafting, and legal interpretation capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
