Role Summary

The Operations Executive supports the daily operational activities of TCR Singapore to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) services to airline and airport customers. The role acts as a key coordination point between Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse, Customers, Airport Authorities, Vendors, and Service Providers to maximize fleet availability, service quality, and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with TCR Group standards and applicable airport operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate daily GSE deployment and equipment allocation to support customer operational requirements.

  • Monitor fleet availability and utilization to support contractual service levels.

  • Liaise with Maintenance and Technical teams to minimize equipment downtime.

  • Support operational planning for peak-hour activity, aircraft turnaround requirements, and special operational requests.

  • Coordinate equipment movement between airport locations and operational areas.

Customer Support

  • Act as a primary operational contact for airline customers and airport stakeholders.

  • Receive, track, and resolve operational issues and customer requests in a timely manner.

  • Support customer meetings and provide operational updates when required.

  • Maintain strong customer relationships through professional, clear, and service-focused communication.

Fleet and Asset Management

  • Monitor fleet performance and availability key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Ensure equipment records are maintained accurately in company systems.

  • Support equipment inspections, audits, commissioning, and decommissioning activity.

  • Coordinate equipment replacement planning during breakdowns and service outages.

  • Assist with inventory and asset tracking activities.

Vendor Management

  • Manage telematics systems and support fleet monitoring activities to improve fleet visibility, asset tracking, and equipment utilization.

  • Manage vendor quotations and support procurement activities in accordance with TCR policies and operational requirements.

  • Review and coordinate quotations for maintenance services, repairs, operational support equipment, and outsourced services.

  • Follow up on outstanding vendor-related issues and ensure timely resolution of actions, repairs, services, and deliverables.

  • Monitor vendor performance and service delivery to ensure compliance with agreed service levels, contractual obligations, and operational requirements.

  • Maintain effective communication and strong working relationships with vendors, suppliers, and third-party service providers.

  • Support vendor performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives involving outsourced services and suppliers.

  • Maintain records of quotations, approvals, service reports, and vendor performance metrics for audit and reporting purposes.

Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with TCR Group health, safety, security, and environmental requirements.

  • Support incident reporting, investigation, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

  • Promote safe working practices and participate in toolbox talks and operational safety initiatives.

  • Maintain compliance with airport, regulatory, and customer operational requirements

Administration and Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

  • Maintain accurate operational records, service orders, and equipment utilization data.

  • Assist in KPI monitoring and performance reporting.

  • Support audits and customer reporting requirements.

  • Maintain documentation related to fleet status, customer requests, operational activity, vendor performance, and telematics reporting.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service reliability.

  • Support implementation of new operational processes and best practices.

  • Participate in projects related to fleet optimization, digitalization, telematics utilization, and operational excellence.

  • Contribute to achieving departmental objectives and business performance targets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum two to four years of relevant experience in airport operations, ground handling operations, Ground Support Equipment, aviation services, logistics, vendor management, telematics, or fleet management.

  • Experience working in an airport environment is highly advantageous.

Required Skills and Competencies

Technical Skills & Behavioral Competencies

  • Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Exposure to SAP, ERP, FSM, telematics, fleet monitoring, or similar operational systems is advantageous.

  • Ability to analyze operational, KPI, vendor, and telematics data.

  • Understanding of GSE operations and airport environments.

  • Ability to assess vendor quotations and support procurement decision-making.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication ability.

  • Customer-focused mindset.

  • Able to work independently and under pressure.

  • Good problem-solving and decision-making capability.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong vendor relationship management and stakeholder coordination capability.

Working Conditions

  • Airport operational environment with frequent coordination across customers, airport stakeholders, maintenance teams, operations personnel, vendors, suppliers, and service providers.

  • May require shift, standby, weekend, and public holiday support depending on business and customer needs.

  • Occasional travel or regional support may be required when assigned by management.
