Accounts Receivable Executive (Contract) | 5 Days/ $3,2k/ North - #1168895

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Executive to join us on a full-time contract basis. This is a key position within our Finance department, based in the North Region. You will play a crucial role in managing our accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining healthy cash flow for the organisation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to the financial health of the company whilst working in a dynamic and professional environment.

What you'll be doing

• Processing and managing customer invoices and billing documentation accurately and in a timely manner

• Monitoring outstanding invoices and following up with clients regarding payment status and overdue accounts

• Reconciling accounts receivable ledgers and identifying discrepancies or payment issues

• Maintaining detailed records of all transactions and communications with customers regarding credit and collections

• Preparing aged receivables reports and providing regular updates to management on collection performance

• Liaising with customers to resolve billing queries, disputes and payment difficulties

• Processing customer payments and ensuring accurate posting to the general ledger

• Supporting the credit control function by implementing and monitoring credit policies and payment terms

• Assisting with month-end and year-end close procedures related to accounts receivable

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance, or related field.

• At least 1 year of Accounts Receivable (AR) or accounting experience is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

• Good numerical and data entry skills with attention to detail.

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to commit contract role for maternity cover (for temporary role).
