About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Security & Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Coordinator to oversee both workplace safety and security operations within our manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on role where you will ensure compliance with Singapore's WSH regulations while maintaining a safe and secure workplace for employees, contractors and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)

• Conduct workplace safety inspections and ensure compliance with MOM WSH regulations.

• Conduct safety induction programmes for employees, contractors and vendors.

• Support monthly Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) inspections and follow up on corrective actions.

• Perform pre-operational safety inspections and hazard identification.

• Inspect and maintain First Aid boxes, firefighting equipment and emergency facilities.

• Coordinate deployment of certified First Aiders and Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) members.

• Support safety campaigns and awareness programmes.

• Assist in incident investigations, risk assessments and implementation of preventive measures.

• Prepare safety reports and maintain accurate WSH documentation.

• Ensure compliance with relevant environmental, occupational health and safety requirements.

Security Operations

• Support daily security office operations.

• Manage access control for employees, visitors and contractors.

• Perform routine security checks and enforce security procedures.

• Administer the access card system.

• Monitor CCTV systems and ensure proper functionality.

• Handle security documentation and administrative duties.

• Support front desk administrative functions including mail handling.

• Maintain high housekeeping standards within the security office.

• Carry out any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Qualifications

• WSH Advanced Certificate Level B (required)

• Valid Senior Security Officer (SSO) qualification with PLRD licence (required)

Experience

• Experience in workplace safety and security operations is preferred.

• Candidates with relevant certifications and a positive learning attitude are encouraged to apply.

Skills

• Good knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety & Health regulations.

• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.

• Familiar with access control systems and incident handling.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organisational and documentation skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to multitask and respond effectively during emergencies.

• A proactive team player with strong attention to detail.
