About the Opportunity

AlwaysHired is partnering with an established manufacturing company to recruit a Facility Technician for its facility operations team based in Woodlands.

This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on maintenance experience who enjoy working on building facilities, utilities and factory infrastructure to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of factory facilities and utilities.

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance works to ensure facilities remain operational.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve facility-related issues.

Building & Security Systems

• Maintain and coordinate servicing of:

  • Air-conditioning systems

  • Lighting and electrical systems

  • Plumbing systems

  • Door access systems

  • Face recognition systems

  • CCTV systems

  • Security alarm systems

Fire Safety & Compliance

• Coordinate servicing and maintenance of fire safety equipment.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and facility maintenance standards.

Contractor & Vendor Management

• Liaise with contractors and service providers for maintenance and renovation works.

• Coordinate work schedules and supervise contractors during project execution.

• Work closely with the building management office on facility-related matters.

Office & Factory Support

• Support office and factory layout planning.

• Assist with renovation coordination and space planning.

• Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).

• Perform other facility-related administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in facilities, building maintenance or factory maintenance is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

• Able to coordinate with contractors and external vendors.

• Familiarity with security systems, access control or CCTV systems will be an advantage.

• Responsible, hands-on and able to work independently.
