About the role

In this internship, you will work on a Proof-Of-Concept (POC) to identify optimal Preventive Maintenance (PM) intervals to enhance SBST's maintenance activities. As Python is the main programming language used for this internship, you will be able to improve your proficiency on popular ML/AI Python libraries like matplotlib, pandas, numpy etc. In addition, you will also work on data visualization using tools like Power BI to design dashboards for this application.

Key responsibilities

• Pre-process real-world datasets
• Train Machine Learning (ML) or statistical models
• Deploy the model where applicable
• Work on data visualization using tools like Power BI to design dashboards

About you

• Working knowledge of Python programming
• Working knowledge of Power BI
• Understanding of probability/statistics viewed favorably
• Understanding of anomaly detection viewed favorably
• Understanding of deep learning viewed favorably
• Understanding of ML algorithms viewed favorably
• Understanding of rail engineering viewed favorably
