System Analyst (Manufacturing Systems / MES) (ID: 708469) - #1168406

The successful candidate will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal business applications, with a focus on database-driven systems and manufacturing-related applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with established coding standards and development frameworks

• Support ongoing system enhancements to improve performance, usability, quality, and responsiveness

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and senior developers to implement new functionalities based on functional specifications

• Perform unit testing, support system integration testing (SIT), and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) activities

• Evaluate technical requirements and provide effort estimations for development tasks

• Troubleshoot application issues, investigate root causes, and implement bug fixes in a timely manner

About you

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Fresh graduates, internship candidates with relevant technical projects, or having an experience of 1-2 years of software development experience would be good to have.

• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining SQL scripts and working with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)

• Experience in at least one programming language/framework: Java, .NET (C#), or Python

• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), debugging, testing, and version control concepts

• Familiarity with database design, data querying, and application integration

• Exposure to Manufacturing Information Systems (MIS) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is highly preferred
