Structural Designer - #1168394

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed structural drawings, plans, sections, and reinforcement detailing.

• Develop and maintain accurate 2D and 3D structural models using industry-standard software.

• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, M&E consultants, and contractors to resolve design issues.

• Review and revise drawings based on engineering calculations and project changes.

• Ensure drawings comply with Singapore Building and Construction Authority (BCA) regulations and relevant codes.

• Assist in design coordination meetings and site technical discussions when required.

• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and fabrication details.

• Maintain proper documentation and revision control.

• Support project delivery within budget and timeline.

• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in structural drafting or structural design.

• Proficient in AutoCAD.

• Experience with Revit Structure, Tekla Structures, or other BIM software is highly preferred.

• Good understanding of reinforced concrete and structural steel detailing.

• Familiarity with Singapore BCA codes and Eurocodes is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in BIM coordination.

• Knowledge of precast concrete detailing.

• Familiarity with Navisworks or Civil 3D is an advantage.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.
