About the role

As a Clinic Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within our specialist O&G setting. You will be responsible for supporting patients through their treatment journey, ensuring their comfort, safety and wellbeing whilst maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice. This position is integral to our clinic operations and directly contributes to our mission of providing exceptional medical care and support to our patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including pre- and post-treatment support, and assistance during medical procedures

• Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and patient education

• Monitor and record vital signs, and observe patients

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in accordance with clinical governance and regulatory requirements

• Prepare and maintain clinical areas, equipment and supplies to ensure a safe and sterile environment

• Communicate compassionately with patients to provide reassurance, answer questions and address concerns throughout their treatment

• Assist with the collection and labelling of samples, ensuring proper protocols are followed

• Support the wider clinical team during busy clinic schedules and emergency situations

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient dignity at all times

• Contribute to a welcoming and supportive clinic environment that promotes positive patient experiences

About you

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a registered nurse

• Relevant nursing qualifications (Diploma or Degree in Nursing)

• Experience in a clinical nursing role, ideally within a primary or secondary care setting

• Knowledge of infection control procedures and maintaining aseptic techniques

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining clinical competence
