Work Location: Bukit Panjang, Senja

Working Hours: 6 days as per rostered (including WE/PH), 8am to 4pm

Overview

Join a dedicated healthcare support team responsible for ensuring clean, well-maintained linen and clothing for residents in a nursing home environment. This role plays an important part in maintaining hygiene standards and supporting the daily operations of the care home through efficient laundry services.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and distribute linen and residents' clothing.

• Perform pre-treatment for heavily soiled linen before washing.

• Iron, fold, and prepare clean linen for distribution.

• Ensure residents' clothing is clearly labelled and properly organised.

• Operate laundry equipment and handle laundry chemicals safely.

• Carry out basic mending and sewing of torn linen or clothing when required.

• Monitor laundry supplies and report equipment faults or maintenance issues promptly.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within the laundry area.

• Assist with linen inventory checks, audits, and stock management.

• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the reporting officer.

Requirements

• Primary education or equivalent qualification.

• Related experience in the hospitality or laundry industry will be advantageous.

• Able to communicate in simple English.

• Good organisational and time management skills.

• Service-oriented with a positive attitude.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Handle manual work in a laundry environment.
