RecruitFirst is hiring, you will be working in a centre at Rivervale!

Duration: 03 Aug 2026 to 31 Dec 2026 (Daily - Monday to Friday)

Working Hours: 7am-7pm (rotating shift)

Hourly Rate: $20/hour

Job Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and supervision for K1 children

• Attend to daily routines e.g diapering if required

• Support age-appropriate developmental and learning activities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the children

• Observe and monitor children's well-being and developmental progress

• Maintain proper hygiene and health practices in accordance with centre policies

• Work closely with centre staff to support daily operations and classroom routines

• Paperwork: Conduct Lesson, Portfolio, WAP

Requirements

• ECDA-recognised Early Childhood qualification (DECCE/Degree in EC etc)

• Valid ECDA certification and Letter of Notification (LON)

• Passion for caring for children and supporting their development

• Able to adapt quickly to different childcare settings (e.g changes to shifts etc)

• Prior childcare experience is preferred, able to commit through the assignment
