About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join Mieux Consulting Pte. Ltd. in the Pioneer West Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our assembly and process work operations. As a Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes, maintaining equipment, and contributing to our commitment to quality and efficiency. This role is integral to our production capabilities and directly impacts the success of our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble precision components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.

• Review engineering drawings and verify the Bill of Materials (BOM).

• Raise purchase requisitions for BOM items when required.

• Perform basic troubleshooting during assembly and report any issues.

• Conduct basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.

• Record inventory movements and maintain accurate stock in/out records.

• Update production and assembly records accurately.

• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

• Work closely with internal departments, including Production, Quality Control (QC), Engineering, and Administration, to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment.

• Support other production and ad hoc tasks as assigned.

1. Proven experience in assembly and process work or a related manufacturing environment

2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards

3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions

4. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

6. Physical capability to perform the duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights
