About the Company

Join a well-established multinational manufacturing company specialising in surface treatment and plating solutions. We are looking for both Entry-Level Assistant Process Engineers and Experienced Process Engineers to support manufacturing operations and continuous process improvements.

Fresh graduates with relevant engineering qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and optimise wet and dry manufacturing processes to achieve quality, yield and productivity targets.

• Monitor and maintain process parameters to ensure stable and efficient production.

• Support wet processes including:

  • Copper (Cu) plating

  • Nickel (Ni) plating

  • Developing

  • Stripping

  • Seed layer etching

• Support dry manufacturing processes including:

  • Dry Lamination

  • Laser Direct Imaging (LDI)

  • Flycutting

• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

• Perform routine chemical analysis of plating solutions and process baths.

• Carry out scheduled replenishment of Copper (Cu) and Nickel (Ni) plating solutions.

• Monitor chemical concentrations and recommend adjustments to maintain product quality.

• Support equipment installation, qualification, validation and preventive maintenance activities.

• Investigate process deviations, quality issues and customer complaints using structured problem-solving methodologies.

• Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to improve process reliability and product quality.

• Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Analyse production data and prepare technical reports to support process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related discipline.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for the Assistant Process Engineer position.

• Candidates with relevant manufacturing or process engineering experience are encouraged to apply for the Process Engineer position.

• Knowledge of electroplating, chemical processes, semiconductor or manufacturing operations will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is preferred.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach.

• Good communication, teamwork and technical reporting skills.

• Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
