Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to support our growing semiconductor operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while collaborating closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is meticulous, reliable, and well-versed in payroll processes, with the ability to manage high-volume transactions and maintain compliance with statutory and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform payroll processing, including data collection, validation, calculation, and disbursement

  • Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance with statutory regulations, and adherence to company policies

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data, compensation changes, and benefits integration

  • Process payroll-related transactions such as new hires, terminations, promotions, bonuses, and deductions

  • Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality

  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and statutory filings in a timely manner

  • Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and deductions, ensuring a positive employee experience

  • Coordinate with external vendors, auditors, and government agencies when required

  • Support audits by providing necessary payroll documentation and reports

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory contributions

  • Identify opportunities for payroll process improvements and automation

  • Assist in HR and finance-related projects and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, preferably within the semiconductor or manufacturing industry

  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, statutory requirements, and local labour laws

  • Experience handling high-volume payroll processing with accuracy and efficiency

  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
