About the role
The Projects Logistics Director is responsible for leading the commercial development, operational execution, and financial performance of the Industrial Projects business across the region. This role carries full P&L accountability and is tasked with building a scalable project logistics capability, delivering complex, high-value, and non-standard cargo movements, including heavy-lift, breakbulk, and out-of-gauge shipments. The Director will drive growth across key verticals, including EPC, energy, mining, infrastructure, and industrial manufacturing, while building a high-performing team and establishing best-in-class execution standards.
Key responsibilities
Define and execute the regional Industrial Projects strategy aligned with global objectives
Identify, develop, and secure complex project opportunities with EPC contractors, project owners, and industrial clients
Lead RFQs, tenders, and solution-based sales efforts for large-scale projects
Build and maintain a strong pipeline across target sectors (energy, mining, infrastructure, renewables)
Oversee development of end-to-end project logistics solutions, including multimodal transport strategies
Oversee execution of complex project cargo movements, including heavy-lift and oversized cargo, breakbulk and charter shipments, and time-critical, milestone-driven deliveries
Own full regional P&L, including revenue growth and margin performance
Act as the senior point of contact for key clients, EPCs, and strategic partners
Build and lead a high-performing team across commercial, operations, and engineering functions
Establish SOPs, governance frameworks, and best practices for project execution
About you
Bachelor's degree required (Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred)
15+ years of experience in project logistics, project cargo, or heavy-lift forwarding
Proven experience managing large-scale, complex logistics projects
Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management within the EPC or industrial sectors
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to originate and close complex project business
Deep understanding of project logistics, including heavy-lift, breakbulk, and OOG transport
Experience with multimodal transport planning and execution
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to operate in high-pressure, dynamic project environments
