Collection Executive / Accounts Receivable (Hire Purchase) - Automotive - #1168009

Summary:

• AWS + VB; up to 18 AL

• Basic up to $3700

• 5 days work week

Collections Management

• Manage the collection and recovery of hire purchase instalments in a timely manner.

• Review ageing reports and follow up on overdue and high-value accounts to reduce outstanding balances.

• Monitor delinquent accounts and take proactive action to prevent them from becoming non-performing loans.

• Contact customers professionally to resolve payment issues and arrange suitable repayment plans.

• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and account updates.

• Escalate significant account issues, risks, and recovery progress to management when required.

• Perform other ad hoc duties related to the Collections function.

Recovery & Enforcement

• Coordinate the repossession process, including the sale of repossessed vehicles and recovery of any remaining outstanding balance.

• Liaise with external solicitors and debt collection agencies on legal recovery matters when necessary.

• Monitor vehicle ownership transfers through LTA alerts and ensure full payment is received before the transfer deadline.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting or any discipline.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply

• Candidates with prior experience in collections or debt recovery within a bank, financial institution, private lender, or commercial environment is preferred.
