Position: Facilities Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for site facilities operation (including Cleanroom operation).
Responsible for early involvement in facilities operation and provide advisory service during site inspection and project development
Plan and take responsibility for smooth daily operations of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing installations and civil works pertaining to the facility – Building and Manufacturing Facilities
Plan, organize and manage preventive maintenance for the Client to support building, cleanroom and office operations.
Plan scope, schedule, budget and execute projects on time to support Client’s business needs such as expansion projects for office, cleanroom and building.
Coordinate and manage all facility-related projects, upgrading and contract services, including M&E works and office fit-up projects
Liaise with Stakeholders for requests regarding office, building and cleanroom needs and issues.
Preparing required project specifications, operating procedure and working instructions and ensure all documentation are properly updated and maintained.
Liaise between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with project specifications
Review technical drawings and construction documents
Keeping track of project’s cost and CAR tracking to ensure that the expenses are within the approved budget
Assist in procurement processes and vendor management
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on all projects
Maintaining incident report
Responsible for renewing license, test certificate
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management or related field
Internship or entry-level experience in project coordination and management, particularly in construction, M&E works, and office fit-up projects is acceptable. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Basic knowledge of or interest in learning CAD/Revit or other construction-related software programs
Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations is a plus, but training will be provided
