Therapy Assistant - Nursing Home (ID: 693859) - #1167673

Responsibilities:

• Conduct blood pressure measurements for residents prior to therapy sessions.

• Collaborate closely with physiotherapists and other health professionals to ensure effective care coordination.

• Provide therapy based on treatment plans, including exercises for mobility and strength, and supervise residents during sessions.

• Organize and facilitate both indoor and outdoor recreational activities.

• Assist residents with transfers to therapy centers as needed.

• Maintain adherence to infection control practices during therapy.

• Ensure accurate documentation in residents’ case notes and manage relevant paperwork.

• Prepare daily schedules for therapy sessions and oversee the cleanliness of equipment.

• Monitor clinical supply levels and ensure availability of necessary consumables.

• Participate in departmental activities and quality assurance processes, enforcing compliance with established guidelines.

Requirements:

• GCE 'N'/'O' Level and a Therapy Support Certificate, or any other relevant qualification.

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
