Medical Laboratory Technologist, Histology - #1167641

Job Responsibilities

• Receive, records, process, and verify specimens for histopathology examination; perform embedding of specimens, assist histopathologists in trimming of gross specimens, perform microtomy, special staining, and immunochemistry; Perform quality check

• Assist in maintenance of equipment and oversee the servicing and maintenance of laboratory equipment; perform charging and billing for each test performed; inventory management by checking & monitoring usage and requisition ogf chemicals an reagents

• Assist in training of histology personnel; administrative and ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

• Degree in Biomedical Science or Equivalent

• Experience in healthcare setting an added advantage
