System Engineer - #1167401

About the role

As a System Engineer at SKA TECH SOLUTION PTE LTD', you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, integration, and support of security systems such as Access Control and CCTV. This role works closely with project teams and clients to ensure systems are delivered according to technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The engineer also provides post-installation support and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and client satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Design, implement, and support security systems including Access Control, CCTV, and integrated security solutions

• Prepare system designs, layouts, technical drawings, and technical documentation

• Supervise installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning activities

• Perform system integration with networking, servers, and third-party platforms

• Conduct system testing, FAT/SAT, and handover to client

• Collaborate with the Customer Service Representative to timely resolve client security system issues

• Deliver comprehensive support and maintenance services, including routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, system upgrades, expansions, alterations, and client training.

• Build strong partnerships with clients and strive to enhance customer satisfaction

• Thoroughly follow up on all open technical issues until they are fully resolved

• Assume ownership of all service-related issues once the External Hand Over is completed by the Project team

• Prepare method statements, test reports, and as-built documentation

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and company SOPs

What we're looking for

• Experience in the security system field with knowledge of Access Control and/or CCTV systems is a must

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics, or related discipline

• Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems

• Basic knowledge of IP networking (IP addressing, switches, VLANs) is an advantage

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system schematics

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Willing to travel to project sites when required
