Job Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team, including buyers, purchasers, material planners, costing executives, warehouse personnel, and logistics coordinators.
Set departmental KPIs and drive performance in cost, delivery, inventory, and supplier management.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for gas delivery components, including stainless-steel tubing, valves, regulators, fittings, MFCs, orbital welding consumables, and other high-purity components.
Identify, evaluate, and qualify reliable local and overseas suppliers.
Leverage industry connections and market knowledge to secure competitive pricing, lead times, and supply continuity.
Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and commercial terms with suppliers.
Material Planning & Inventory Control
Oversee material planning activities to ensure timely availability of materials for production and project execution.
Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, excess and obsolete materials, and implement inventory optimization initiatives.
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Production, and Project teams on material requirements and schedule changes.
Costing & Commercial Support
Review and validate product costing, quotation support, and cost analysis for gas delivery projects and assemblies.
Drive cost reduction initiatives through supplier negotiations, value engineering, and process improvements.
Warehouse & Logistics Management
Manage warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, receiving, storage, and material issuance processes.
Oversee domestic and international logistics, shipping arrangements, freight cost control, and customs coordination.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and semiconductor handling requirements.
Operational Excellence
Establish and improve supply chain SOPs, planning processes, and reporting systems.
Monitor supply chain risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
Prepare management reports on procurement, inventory, supplier performance, logistics, and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5-8 years of relevant supply chain experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
Strong experience in semiconductor equipment, gas delivery systems, high-purity process piping, or precision engineering & manufacturing environments.
Proven track record in managing cross-functional supply chain operations
Resourceful with strong supplier sourcing and market networking capabilities.
Good industry connections and ability to identify alternative sources for critical gas delivery components.
Strong negotiation, commercial, and analytical skills.
Able to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with high-purity gas delivery systems and semiconductor manufacturing requirements.
Experience with project-based / engineer-to-order (ETO) operations is highly preferred.
Willing to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
Able to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking suppliers, counterparts, and business partners to support sourcing, procurement, and operational coordination.
Willing to work in East Region, Changi North Crecent.
