About the role

Dong Jian (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our dynamic construction team. This full-time position is based in the Springleaf North Region and plays a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of our construction projects. As Project Coordinator, you will be the backbone of project operations, ensuring seamless communication, efficient documentation, and timely coordination of all project activities. This role is essential to maintaining project schedules, budgets, and quality standards whilst supporting the Project Management team in achieving strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

1. Coordinating project schedules, timelines and milestones to ensure projects remain on track and within budget

2. Liaising between project managers, contractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders to facilitate effective communication

3. Maintaining comprehensive project documentation including records, reports, permits and correspondence

4. Assisting with site inspections and monitoring progress against project plans and specifications

5. Preparing meeting minutes, progress reports and project updates for distribution to relevant parties

6. Processing purchase orders, invoices and other administrative documentation related to project procurement

7. Supporting the coordination of site safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

8. Tracking project costs, expenditures and variations to support budget management

9. Assisting with the organisation of project meetings, site walks and client presentations

10. Maintaining project databases and systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is readily available

What we're looking for

1. Qualification in construction management, project management or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in a construction environment

2. Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail

3. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the capacity to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with project management software or building information modelling (BIM) systems

5. Knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards and relevant regulatory requirements

6. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

7. Strong problem-solving capabilities and proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

8. Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively across departments

9. Experience in construction project coordination or similar project support roles is highly desirable

10. Familiarity with Singapore construction industry standards and practices is preferred
