Mechanical Assembly Technician | North | Up to SGD 3,000 + Bonus

Salary

No experience: Up to Basic SGD 2,000/month

Relevant experience: Up to Basic SGD 2,500 – SGD 3,500/month (based on experience)

Working Hours

12-hour Permanent Fixed Shift (4/3/3/4 rotating schedule)

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:15 PM (+$20/shift)

• Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:15 AM (+$45/shift)

Work Location: North (Nearest MRT: Admiralty)

Working Environment

• Cleanroom environment (cleanroom suit required)

• Personal belongings, including mobile phones, must be kept in lockers during working hours

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble precision mechanical and electrical equipment according to engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and manufacturing specifications.

• Perform mechanical assembly, alignment, calibration, and functional testing.

• Troubleshoot electrical control systems using measuring instruments such as multimeters and amp meters.

• Inspect components and completed assemblies to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely during assembly.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while complying with safety procedures.

• Participate in cross-training and complete required certifications.

• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• No minimum educational qualification required.

• Candidates with Degree, Diploma, Higher NITEC, or NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering disciplines are encouraged to apply.

• Candidates with experience in Production, Manufacturing, Mechanical Assembly, Equipment Assembly, Electronics, or Cleanroom environments are encouraged to apply.

• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.

• Willing to work permanent 12-hour fixed shifts (4/3/3/4 work pattern).

• Able to distinguish colours accurately due to electrical wiring and safety requirements.

• Able to lift up to 23kg and perform tasks such as climbing ladders and kneeling.

• Comfortable working around strong magnetic fields during equipment assembly and testing.

• Able to commence work immediately or within short notice.
