About the role

We are seeking a full-time Accounts Executive (Billing/AR or AP) to join our team in the West Region. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a pivotal position within our accounting department, where you will be responsible for managing critical financial processes that directly impact our operational efficiency and cash flow. Whether you specialise in Billing and Accounts Receivable (AR) or Accounts Payable (AP), your work will be integral to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the broader business objectives of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and process invoices, billing, and payment transactions accurately.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) or Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.

• Verify invoices and ensure payments are processed on time.

• Reconcile accounts and follow up on outstanding payments or discrepancies.

• Prepare monthly reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

• Maintain accurate accounting records and update financial data in the system.

• Manage petty cash and perform weekly cash reconciliation.

• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments on billing and payment matters.

• Assist with month-end closing and support audit preparation when required.

• Ensure all accounting records comply with company policies and accounting procedures.

• Perform general accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related field

• Entry level or 1–2 years’ experience in accounting, billing, AP/AR functions

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

• Attention to detail, able to multitask and meet deadlines

• Good communication skills and a strong team player
