R&D Sputter Engineer (Degree /PHD in Material Sci) /Entry level welcome! - #1166971

• 0ptimizing hard disk storage: Implement strategies to maximize existing storage capacity and explore potential upgrades for significant storage expansion.

• Improving sputter machine stability: Focus on enhancing the reliability and performance of the sputter machine and its processes.

• To lead a group of sputter EAs to conduct daily sputtering work

• To develop new multilayers thin film structure for new hard disk media programs

• To duplicate hard disk media structure based on design transferred

• To monitor sputter process & machine stability

• Ensure compliance to ISO quality and Safety standards

• Any other duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Materials Science Engineering/Master degree in Materials Science Engineering (Entry candidates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply).

• Working experience more than 2 years in semiconductor field or hard disk industry

• Understanding of Magnetic material multi-layers design

• Sputtering machine hardware modification & improvement

• Materials Science Knowledge

• Materials Characterization Skills, ie XRD, AFM, ESCA/XPS

• Thin Film manufacturing process, ie PVD & CVD

• Experience in Python Coding /SPC (Statistical Process Control) will be an added advantage.
