Vehicle Attendant - #1166920

This position is responsible for picking up and delivering chemical wastes in approved containers; loading and unloading drummed waste material; and hooking up sets of trailers.

Job Requirements:

• Deliver & Collect: Assist the driver in safely loading, unloading, and delivering hazardous chemicals (drums, ISO tanks) using forklifts or pallet jacks.

• Check Goods: Do quick visual checks to ensure the right items and quantities are collected or delivered.

• Safety First: Maintain equipment cleanliness and assist the driver with emergency spill containment if needed.

• Be a Team Player: Maintain a professional attitude with customers and colleagues, and always follow safety rules.

Job Requirements:

• Attitude: Willing to learn, positive mindset, and strong safety awareness.

• Language: Able to read and understand simple English.

• Flexibility: Willing and able to work overtime when required.

• Bonus Points (Not Mandatory):

  • Possess a Forklift License.

  • Possess a Class 4 Driving License (extra allowance/opportunities when covering peak driving duties).

  • Prior experience in a chemical warehouse or working on Jurong Island.
