Project Engineer (Tuas West) - #1166919

• Responsible for the preparation and application of the Project Execution Plan
• Prepare document submission to customer as per project basis.
• Oversee that the review of all relevant submissions is in line with the project schedule and submission for approval.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Assistance in the selection of the contractor as well as in the negotiation of their terms and conditions of engagement with the Procurement team.
• Attend meetings as required to ensure the compliance with the overall project standards, procedures and requirements.
• Communicates effectively with client to identify needs and evaluate alternative Project solutions.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
• Oversee and ensure that Change Management as it relates to budget, revised design and potential schedule impact is carried out in line with TECO procedures
• Work and liaise with the Design team on project matters and also initiate value engineering initiatives to ensure that the project develops within the recognized cost and time constraints
• Regularly inspect the progress of the work on site and provide guidance to the project team on best practices and potential efficiencies on scheduling and processes

Qualifications for the role

• Singaporean and Permanent Residents only
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent
• At least 1 year of Project Management experience in the relevant industry
• Possess Sound Technical Knowledge on Power transformer, LV Switchgear etc
• Willing to travel to site
• Possess class 3 license
