Production Maintenance Engineer - #1166832

Salary Range: $4000 - $5500

Established Packaging industry

Working Location: Tuas

Working Days & Hours: Mon - Fri (8.30am - 6pm)

Your Role, Your Influence:

1. Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime

2. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions

3. Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components, parts, and systems in a timely manner

4. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance for compliance and analysis purposes

5. Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimise operational disruption

6. Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues before they become critical problems

7. Perform both corrective and predictive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan

8. Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards, regulations, and company policies

9. Assist in the training and guidance of junior maintenance staff as required

10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness

The Ingredients for Success:

1. Proven experience of at least 3-5 years working in a maintenance or engineering role within an industrial or manufacturing environment

2. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

3. Physical capability to perform hands-on maintenance work, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions

4. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines

5. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region if required
