Responsibilities
Provide technical support and guidance to Manufacturing Technicians on new product introductions and existing manufacturing programs.
Develop, implement and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, productivity and efficiency.
Create and maintain Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS), NC programs and Tool/Gauge Plans using Siemens NX.
Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to support manufacturing and inspection requirements.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide effective technical solutions.
Drive productivity improvement initiatives through tooling, fixtures and equipment enhancements.
Conduct feasibility studies for manufacturing capacity, layout optimisation and process improvements.
Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to improve manufacturing performance.
Support technical investigations relating to customer and production issues.
Participate in quality improvement and CAPEX projects.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in aerospace, precision engineering or advanced manufacturing.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and process improvement methodologies.
Hands-on experience interpreting engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles.
Experience with Siemens NX for manufacturing documentation and NC programming is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement tools.
Good analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
