Assistant Engineer (Warehouse Automation) - #1166615

Salary: S$2,200 to S$3,800 per month, commensurate with relevant qualifications and experience

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position

Working Days and Hours: Exact working schedule will be shared during the interview. Occasional overtime and standby duties after normal working hours, including weekends or public holidays, may be required based on operational needs.

Location: Island wide, depending on assigned customer or project site

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on automated warehouse equipment

• Troubleshoot and rectify faults involving conveyors, lifters and related systems

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore operations promptly

• Monitor equipment condition and report recurring technical or safety issues

• Complete maintenance records and service reports accurately

• Follow workplace safety procedures and risk-control measures

• Coordinate with customers, colleagues and relevant stakeholders

• Carry out other technical duties assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related engineering field

• Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings

• Relevant experience in automation, machinery, conveyor systems or equipment maintenance is advantageous

• Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC systems is an added advantage

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Willing to perform occasional overtime, standby duties and overseas assignments when required
