Business Development Executive | Electronics & Key Accounts | MNC | North - SY - #1166575

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the identification and expansion of new business opportunities across the environmental, energy, and water sectors within the ASEAN and India markets.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and uncover opportunities for innovative products, solutions, and services.

• Lead the development and execution of Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives and pilot programmes to validate business opportunities.

• Conduct market research to evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and potential strategic technology partners.

• Coordinate product evaluations, factory trials, and test-bed projects to assess technical and commercial feasibility.

• Support the successful launch and commercialisation of new solutions by transforming validated concepts into scalable business offerings.

• Develop commercially sustainable business models by balancing market demand, technical feasibility, and profitability.

• Collaborate closely with regional teams, headquarters in Japan, R&D, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery and business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in Business Development, Product Management, Innovation, or a similar commercial role.

• Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proven ability to identify market opportunities and develop effective business growth strategies.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across regional and multicultural environments.

• Self-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.

• Strong networking, relationship-building, and partnership management skills.
