The STEM Programme Coordinator plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering our Robotics, Coding, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering and STEM education programmes. This role combines trainer management, operational planning, and school engagement to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality learning experiences across preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, enrichment centres, and community partners.
The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, enjoys working with people, and is passionate about making STEM education engaging and accessible for students.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Planning & Curriculum Support
Prepare lesson materials, teaching resources, and classroom equipment for STEM programmes.
Prepare programme documentation for new courses, workshops, and holiday camps.
Operations & Logistics
Coordinate the deployment of trainers for weekly classes, workshops, events, and school programmes.
Plan and manage the logistics required for programme delivery, including teaching kits, robotics equipment, tablets, and consumables.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure teaching resources are properly maintained and ready for deployment.
Maintain accurate records of equipment loans, repairs, servicing, and replacements.
Support the operational setup for roadshows, exhibitions, competitions, and outreach events.
School Partnerships & Business Development
Build and maintain positive relationships with schools, educators, and community partners.
Identify opportunities to introduce new STEM programmes to schools and educational organisations.
Support programme presentations, demonstrations, and trial workshops for prospective clients.
Work to customise programmes and proposals based on client requirements.
Gather feedback from schools and recommend improvements to strengthen programme offerings.
Administration
Prepare programme reports and summaries following each course or semester.
Produce newsletters, programme updates, and promotional content highlighting STEM activities and achievements.
Maintain accurate programme records, attendance, trainer schedules, and operational documentation.
Support other operational and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
Passionate about STEM education and working with children.
Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable speaking with educators, parents, trainers, and school representatives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Willing to travel between schools and programme venues when required.
Experience in teaching, curriculum development, operations, or education programme management will be advantageous.
