We are seeking a proactive Catering & Wedding Sales person to be part of our team to drive banquet, corporate events, weddings sales for our hotel. This role focuses on client relationship management, event conversion, and revenue growth within a hotel that is also suitable for intimate and cosy wedding with rustic and quaint twist.

  • Drive sales related to weddings & events services

  • Proactive in securing and converting banquet and events sales to achieve revenue objectives

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to maximize repeat business

  • Conduct effective sales appointments and site visits of banquet and meeting facilities

  • Participate in wedding showcases, sales blitzes, trade shows whenever necessary.

  • Prepare proposals, quotations and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring all event details are accurately captured

  • Coordinate effectively with hotel operations teams and conduct pre/post-event meetings to ensure smooth events execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Support sales promotions, marketing initiatives, account servicing and sales administration matters.

  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback to identify new and repeated sales opportunities

  • Consistently deliver professional and engaging service with both clients and colleagues and perform other assigned duties as required

Job Requirement

  • Hybrid — up to 1 day WFH, discretionary and adjustable based on business needs

  • Candidates with hotel operations experience with interest in sales are welcome to apply

  • Candidates with at least 1 Year of hotel catering sales, banquet & event operations, weddings, venue sales or sales experience in other fields with proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales target are encouraged to apply

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Customer-first mindset and team-player attitude

  • Able to multi-task, work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced working environment

  • Proficient in Hotel Sales System (e.g. Delphi, Opera) will be of advantage
