Cybersecurity Manager (Artificial Intelligence) - #1166471

Our client is seeking an experienced AI Cybersecurity Manager to lead the development and implementation of security strategies that protect their organisation's AI systems, platforms, and digital assets. This role is responsible for securing enterprise AI technologies, including Generative AI, AI copilots, and machine learning platforms, while safeguarding the organisation against emerging AI-powered cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the organisation's AI security strategy aligned with enterprise risk and cybersecurity objectives

• Design and maintain secure architecture for AI and machine learning systems, including Generative AI and AI-powered applications

• Establish and enforce AI security governance frameworks, standards, and best practices

• Implement security controls to protect AI platforms against threats such as prompt injection, data leakage, model abuse, and AI-enabled cyberattacks

• Lead AI security assessments, red teaming activities, vulnerability management, and remediation efforts

• Collaborate with Security Operations (SOC), Risk, Audit, Technology, and business stakeholders to strengthen AI security capabilities

• Develop AI-specific incident response plans and support investigations involving AI-related security incidents

• Monitor emerging AI security risks, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to continuously improve security controls

• Manage external security vendors and technology partners while overseeing AI security initiatives and projects

• Prepare security reports and communicate AI security risks and recommendations to senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least hands-on experience in AI/ML Security or MLSecOps

• Proven experience securing enterprise AI systems, including Generative AI, LLMs, AI copilots, agentic AI, or machine learning platforms

• Strong understanding of AI security principles, secure architecture, threat modelling, and AI risk management

• Hands-on experience implementing security controls for AI applications and cloud environments

• Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10, and MITRE ATLAS

• Experience with security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and security architecture

• Professional cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent is highly preferred

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technical risks to senior leadership
