AV (Audio & Visual) Specialist

We are looking for an experienced AV (Audio & Visual) Specialist to support one of our large clients in the insurance sector, while also assisting with other workplace technology projects and client requirements. Approximately 50% of this role will be dedicated to supporting the client’s enterprise AV and collaboration environment, with the remaining time focused on other customer engagements and internal technology initiatives.

The role involves maintaining and supporting meeting room technology, video conferencing systems, and workplace collaboration solutions across a range of enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain meeting room and AV systems to ensure reliable day-to-day operation.

  • Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft Teams Rooms, video conferencing platforms, displays, audio equipment, and presentation systems.

  • Manage AV-related incidents and service requests, providing timely resolution and clear communication to users.

  • Perform routine health checks, preventive maintenance, and equipment testing.

  • Assist with the deployment, configuration, and upgrades of meeting room and collaboration technologies.

  • Work closely with internal IT teams, business users, and external vendors to resolve issues and deliver improvements.

  • Provide AV and workplace technology support across multiple client environments as required.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including equipment inventories and support procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting enterprise AV and workplace collaboration technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Microsoft Teams Rooms and video conferencing platforms

    • Audio, video, display, and room control systems

    • Meeting room troubleshooting and AV hardware support

  • Familiarity with IT service management processes, including incident and change management.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.

  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries is an advantage.
