About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join Capital Human Resource Management Pte. Ltd in the East Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our quality standards across our warehousing, storage, and distribution operations. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products, processes, and services meet our rigorous quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role is integral to our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction, serving as a key quality control point throughout our supply chain.
Key responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections and audits of warehouse facilities, storage areas, and distribution centres to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
Develop and implement quality control procedures and checklists to maintain consistency across all operations
Test and evaluate products, materials, and equipment to identify defects or inconsistencies and document findings
Investigate quality issues and non-conformances, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions
Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective action reports
Collaborate with operational teams to implement quality improvements and best practices
Conduct training sessions for warehouse and distribution staff on quality standards and procedures
Prepare quality reports and metrics for management review
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies
Monitor supplier quality and maintain vendor performance records
What we're looking for
Diploma or degree in Quality Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 2-3 years of quality assurance experience in warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards (ISO 9001 preferred)
Proficiency in using quality control tools and techniques such as statistical process control and root cause analysis
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis software
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical capability to conduct regular facility inspections and walk-throughs
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify improvements and implement solutions
Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations is advantageous
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or distribution software is a plus
