About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer to drive business growth within the Power System sectors.

This role combines technical expertise with customer engagement, business development, and solution consulting. You will work closely with customers, engineering teams, contractors, and industry partners to deliver value-added solutions that support operational efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across assigned industry sectors.

  • Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, OEMs, contractors, system integrators, consultants, and end users.

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to expand market presence.

Customer Engagement & Solution Selling

  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational needs and business challenges.

  • Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable products and solutions.

  • Present technical proposals and articulate the commercial value of proposed solutions.

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and participate in commercial negotiations.

  • Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support continuous business improvement.

Technical Support & Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

  • Support project execution and technical discussions with stakeholders.

  • Review technical specifications, drawings, and application requirements.

  • Monitor project opportunities and support customers throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Provide technical guidance and application support where required.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate customer records and opportunity pipelines within CRM / SAP HANA systems.

  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business performance updates.

  • Monitor order progression, project developments, and payment collection activities.

  • Ensure compliance with company sales processes and customer credit terms.

Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Monitor market developments, competitive activities, and customer requirements.

  • Contribute to digital and hybrid sales initiatives to enhance customer engagement.

Requirements Qualifications

· Diploma or Degree in related engineering disciplines

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in:

  • Technical Sales

  • Business Development

  • Solution Selling

  • Industrial Automation

  • Engineering or Project Engineering

  • Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude and passion for customer engagement are encouraged to apply.

Technical Competencies

  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.

  • Familiarity with project management and sales forecasting processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Knowledge of electrical single line drawing, AutoCAD, and CRM / SAP HANA systems is advantageous.
