Assistant Facilities Engineer / $3,300 - $3,800 + PB - #1166234

• $3,300 - $3,800 + Performance Bonus (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)

• Location: Pioneer/ Tuas (Either one, will be discuss during interview)

• Timing: Monday - Friday | 8am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out corrective maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid restoration of operations.

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities, including inspection, cleaning, lubrication, alignment checks, replacement of worn components, and functional testing.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems such as pumps, bearings, couplings, seals, valves, piping leaks, clamps/fittings, conveyors, and actuators.

• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical and control system issues, including motors, sensors (photo eyes, proximity sensors, load cells), solenoids, relays, VFDs/inverters, basic PLC I/O faults, control panels, and wiring/termination.

• Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment, covering mechanical assembly, alignment, piping connections, cable pulling and termination, I/O verification, dry runs, and production trials.

• Perform basic calibration and verification activities where applicable, including weighing systems, load cells, level sensors, temperature probes, pressure gauges, and safety interlocks.

• Conduct comprehensive safety checks before and after servicing, ensuring compliance with guarding, emergency stops, interlocks, earthing, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.

• Prepare accurate service documentation, including job reports, fault findings, spare parts usage, root cause analysis, recommendations, and follow-up actions.

• Able to work night shift
  

Requirements:

• Diploma in a related technical discipline.

• Minimum 2 year’s experience in relevant fields.
