Job Highlights

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate shipment execution

• Lead the shipping team, including manpower planning, task allocation, and daily operational support

• Coordinate with internal departments, customers, freight forwarders, carriers, couriers, and 3PL providers

• Oversee the preparation of import/export shipping documents, including Delivery Orders, Bills of Lading, Invoices, Packing Lists, and Arrival Notices

• Manage courier shipments (e.g. DHL, FedEx), shipment schedules, and resolve operational issues or customer enquiries

• Generate shipping documents using SAP and ensure compliance with Letter of Credit (LC) requirements where applicable

• Support end-of-quarter (EOQ) shipment activities to meet delivery and billing deadlines

• Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and safety standards

• Maintain accurate shipping records and prepare operational reports

• Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality

• Escalate manpower or operational resource constraints when necessary and provide supervisory support during the Shipping Supervisor's absence

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 years of experience in Shipping, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding, including supervisory experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience handling import/export documentation

• Familiar with Incoterms and basic customs procedures

• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

• Able to work overtime when required
