• Up till $5,500 Basic

• 5 days work week only

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Platform Operations & Management

• Manage, monitor, and maintain platform services, including container platforms, middleware, databases, messaging systems, and runtime components.

• Support Day 2 operations, incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution.

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade operating systems (RHEL, Windows Server) and platform software.

• Perform platform performance tuning, capacity planning, and service optimization.

• Manage backup, recovery, and restoration activities for platform components and COTS products.

• Ensure high availability and operational readiness across Development, Test, Staging, and Production environments.

2. Container Platform & COTS Administration

• Install, configure, patch, and maintain container platforms and runtimes, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Podman.

• Administer and support enterprise COTS solutions such as:

  • MongoDB

  • Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)

  • NGINX

  • Apache HTTP Server

  • IBM MQ

  • MQTT Brokers

  • Kafka

  • ArcGIS

  • Keycloak

3. Security & Compliance

• Perform infrastructure security hardening in accordance with CIS Benchmarks and Singapore Government security standards.

• Manage user access controls and permissions in compliance with IT security policies.

• Support IT governance, audit, and regulatory compliance activities.

• Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.

4. Collaboration & Project Support

• Work closely with Application, DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to resolve platform-related issues.

• Coordinate with infrastructure providers and vendors to troubleshoot network, connectivity, load balancer, and firewall issues.

• Support the onboarding and integration of new applications and platform services.

• Participate in technical discussions, operational reviews, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

5. Platform Maintenance & Lifecycle Management

• Plan, test, and deploy platform patches, middleware updates, security fixes, and version upgrades.

• Perform platform lifecycle management and ensure systems remain current and supported.

• Support change implementation and release activities following established change management processes.

• Develop rollback plans and ensure operational readiness for major platform changes.

6. Monitoring & Reliability

• Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.

• Monitor platform health, resource utilization, and service availability.

• Analyze performance trends and proactively identify capacity or reliability risks.

• Support centralized logging and troubleshooting across platform environments.

7. Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain accurate SOPs, infrastructure diagrams, maintenance records, and change documentation.

• Prepare reports on platform performance, capacity, and preventive maintenance.

• Identify and implement automation opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform reliability and operational efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent

• Familiarity with container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes), DevOps tools (Ansible, GitLab), and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus).

• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting enterprise COTS products such as: MongoDB, NGINX, APACHE, IBM MQ, NGINX, ArcGIS, CICD Platfom, etc…

• Working knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, change, and problem management).
