Assistant Events Manager (Conference, Corporate & Government Events) - #1165893
Purpleforest Events Pte. Ltd.
About PurpleForest Events
PurpleForest Events is a Singapore-based events agency with more than 15 years' experience delivering conferences, corporate events, government projects, award ceremonies, product launches and international meetings. We are a close-knit team that values professionalism, accountability and continuous learning. Our work spans government agencies, associations and corporate clients — events that demand strong planning, attention to detail and service excellence.
About the Role
We are looking for a steady, capable and client-focused Assistant Events Manager to oversee the planning and delivery of conferences, corporate events, government projects and association events.
This role suits an experienced event professional with 3–5 years of relevant experience who is ready to take wider ownership of client accounts, project standards, team coordination and event outcomes, while remaining hands-on in the details that make each event successful. You will gain exposure to government-sector conferences, international meetings, ministerial-level ceremonies and other high-profile events where precision, professionalism and strong stakeholder management are essential. Beyond executing events, you will support senior management by coordinating project follow-through, guiding junior colleagues, upholding company SOPs and contributing to stronger planning and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
Own client relationships for assigned accounts and provide responsive, consultative service from enquiry to post-event follow-up.
Interpret client objectives and develop solutions that balance expectations, operational feasibility and budget discipline.
Prepare and review quotations, budgets, timelines and project plans for commercial sense and operational accuracy.
Oversee the planning and execution of medium to large-scale conferences, corporate events, launches, award ceremonies and government-sector projects.
Coordinate clients, venues, vendors, speakers, production partners and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
Monitor timelines, budgets, manpower and deliverables, intervening early when issues arise.
Anticipate risks and resolve operational issues calmly during planning and on-site execution.
Maintain accurate project documentation, briefs and post-event records.
Guide, coach and support Senior Events Executives and Event Executives in project delivery and client management.
Lead post-event reviews and recommend practical improvements to processes and standards.
Support business development, pitches, proposals and government tender submissions alongside the Director of Events.
Requirements
Essential
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in conference, corporate event, government event, award ceremony or MICE project management.
Proven ability to independently lead client accounts, prepare or review quotations and manage event projects end-to-end.
Strong project, stakeholder, budgeting and vendor management skills.
Strong written and spoken English — the role involves preparing quotations, proposals, event plans and official documentation, and coordinating with clients, government agencies, vendors and international delegates where English is the primary working language.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently within deadlines under a flexible arrangement.
Proficient in Microsoft Teams and other workplace productivity tools.
Able to guide junior colleagues, set a steady example and contribute to a positive team culture.
Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
Open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents. [Asst Event...nager 2026 | Word]
Preferred
