Customer Service Engineer (Electronics Manufacturing Equipment) DP11 - #1165872

Responsibilities

• Provide technical back-office support to field service engineers and customers, including the preparation of retrofit and MES quotations.

• Manage spare parts inventory for the SEA region, including stock planning, ordering, storage, and distribution.

• Coordinate service, repair, and preventive maintenance activities in accordance with company standards.

• Troubleshoot and analyze electrical, mechanical, and process-related machine issues, primarily through remote technical support.

• Provide on-site customer training on equipment operation, safety, and maintenance when required.

• Support customers in process optimization and production ramp-up to improve product quality and operational efficiency.

• Perform in-house and on-site test soldering for demonstrations and evaluations.

• Assemble and disassemble machines for exhibitions and trade shows.

• Coordinate and support installation, commissioning, and production equipment start-up at customer sites across Southeast Asia in collaboration with field service engineers.

• Work closely with regional service and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Prepare and maintain accurate service records, technical reports, and related documentation (e.g. CPK and evaluation reports).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in machine service, installation, or process support, preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry (SMT/THT).

• Strong understanding of technical drawings, pneumatic systems, and electrical schematics.

• Proven troubleshooting experience in electrical and mechanical systems.

• Good technical problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently within the Southeast Asia region as required.
