Monthly Salary: Up to S$4,000, depending on experience and technical competency
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Rest Day: Sunday

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, DR WiFi Pte Ltd, a growing technology solutions company specializing in enterprise WiFi, CCTV surveillance, networking, access control, and smart security systems across Singapore.

The company is seeking an experienced and responsible CCTV & Access Control Technician to carry out installation, configuration, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance work at customer sites.

The successful candidate should possess strong hands-on technical experience, take pride in delivering neat and professional workmanship, and be able to communicate confidently with customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install, configure, test, commission, and troubleshoot Hikvision CCTV systems.

2. Install, configure, test, and maintain door access control systems.

3. Install, route, terminate, label, and test Cat6 network cabling.

4. Configure NVRs, IP cameras, network switches, routers, and related networking equipment.

5. Assign and configure IP addresses and resolve basic network connectivity issues.

6. Diagnose and rectify faults involving CCTV, access control, cabling, and networking systems.

7. Carry out preventive maintenance, servicing, system testing, and equipment replacement.

8. Conduct site surveys and assess customers’ technical and installation requirements.

9. Recommend suitable equipment and installation solutions based on site conditions.

10. Ensure all installations are completed safely, neatly, and in accordance with company standards.

11. Prepare service reports, installation records, testing results, and other basic technical documentation.

12. Explain system functions and provide basic operational guidance to customers.

13. Deliver professional and courteous on-site customer service.

14. Perform other related technical duties assigned by the company.

Job Requirements

1. At least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in CCTV, access control, IP networking, or a related technical field.

2. Practical experience installing and configuring Hikvision CCTV systems.

3. Experience with door access control systems.

4. Able to configure IP cameras, NVRs, IP addresses, and network switches.

5. Familiar with Cat6 cable installation, termination, labelling, testing, and fault diagnosis.

6. Able to use appropriate tools and testing equipment for installation and troubleshooting work.

7. Comfortable performing installation work at height using ladders, where required.

8. Able to read basic technical drawings, cabling layouts, or installation plans.

9. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

10. Responsible, punctual, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship.

11. Able to work independently and manage assigned jobs efficiently.

12. Able to communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and project stakeholders.

13. Willing to travel to different customer and project sites across Singapore.

14. Able to work a six-day workweek, Monday to Saturday.

Preferred Technical Experience

Experience with any of the following systems or products will be an advantage:

1. TP-Link Omada networking solutions

2. Ubiquiti networking and WiFi systems

3. Fingerprint and facial-recognition access control systems

4. Time attendance systems

5. Intercom and video intercom systems

6. Enterprise and commercial WiFi systems

7. Basic router, switch, and wireless network troubleshooting
