A global leader in industrial automation is looking for an Automation Sales Engineer to support the growth of its Electronics and Assembly & Test business in Singapore.

This is a customer-facing role where you'll partner with manufacturers, OEMs, and system integrators to deliver automation solutions that improve productivity and manufacturing performance. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand business opportunities within the Electronics and Assembly & Test manufacturing sector.
- Build relationships with OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, and key manufacturing customers to drive solution adoption.
- Understand customers' production challenges and recommend suitable automation technologies and solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and solution demonstrations to customers.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and support commercial negotiations throughout the sales cycle.
- Work closely with application engineers, product specialists, and regional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline, track opportunities through CRM, and deliver against business objectives.
- Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
The Talent
- Diploma or Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or solution selling within industrial automation.
- Exposure to the Electronics, Semiconductor, Precision Engineering, or Assembly & Test industries will be highly advantageous.
- Strong technical understanding of factory automation, pneumatic, motion, or industrial control solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and commercial audiences.
- Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across functions.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver value-driven solutions.
