We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key part in supporting our infrastructure projects by managing the purchasing process from sourcing to delivery. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in procurement and a proactive attitude toward streamlining processes, improving supplier relationships and ensuring project deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct sourcing exercise for potential suppliers.
Conduct all Tender Processes and Processing of Purchase Order in accordance to Corporate Governance Regulations.
Carry out price analysis and conduct purchase / contract negotiation with vendors to ensure materials / services are acquired at best pricing.
Monitor supplier performance and support cost-saving initiatives
Hasten suppliers for prompt deliveries in the orders.
Generation of Purchase Order and process change order/s.
Liaise with respective internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing
Provide regular feedback on material or services status to requestors.
Maintain and improve procurement system data and documentation
Any other procurement matters assign from time to time
Requirements:
Diploma/ Bachelor Degree (Engineering / Supply Chain Management and related field of study in Electrical Engineering will be an advantage)
Minimum 3 years with hands-on experience purchasing, preferably in Construction/Engineering industry
Good working knowledge of financial and legal terms affecting purchasing is preferred.
Experience in project management is preferred.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Confident to communicate with all levels
