Cogent owns one of Singapore's largest one-stop integrated logistics hub, Cogent 1.Logistics Hub. It offers warehousing, transportation, freight forwarding, container depot, ISO tank depot and automotive logistics services in Singapore.

Role Description

1. Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. The role involves working with various technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives

2. Responsible for technical and administration activities for IT infrastructure which will include deployment, configuring, maintenance, upgrading and migration of critical infrastructure such as servers, workstations and system/network equipment

3. Monitor and maintain system performance, including server uptime, network connectivity, and application functionality. Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure security and stability. Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues to resolve problems promptly

4. Implement and manage security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access, breaches, and other threats. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential risks.

5. Support and recommend system IT policies, standard operating procedure and capacity planning

6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes

Requirements:

1. Degree / Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related disciplines

2. Relevant Microsoft certifications in MCSE, MCITP, VMWare Certifications

3. Extensive knowledge and hands on in Windows Active Directory, File Services, and GPO, DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, WSUS, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure

4. Extensive knowledge and hands on in VMWare virtualization

5. Working knowledge in SAN environment and storage space management from systems

6. Familiar in design implementation and troubleshooting Firewall, Routers, Switches, Wireless from Cisco, Meraki, Ruckus, Sophos, Checkpoint
