Project Engineer (Fire Protection Systems) - #1165351

• Up till $6,000 Basic + AWS + Bonus

• Experience in M&E, fire protection, ACMV, or building services projects preferred.

• Knowledge of Singapore fire protection standards is an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and coordinate fire protection system projects from design stage to completion.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities.

• Review project drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.

• Prepare shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and technical documents.

• Coordinate installation works for:

  • Fire alarm systems

  • Sprinkler systems

  • Hydrant/hose reel systems

  • Wet & dry risers

  • Gas suppression systems (FM-200, NOVEC, INERGEN, etc.)

  • VESDA/HSSD systems

• Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with:

  • Singapore Fire Code requirements

  • SS CP10 standards

  • Client/project specifications

• Monitor project progress, schedule, and manpower deployment.

• Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues.

• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

• Prepare project documentation including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and inspection records.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related fields.

• Experience in M&E, fire protection, ACMV, or building services projects preferred.

• Knowledge of Singapore fire protection standards is an advantage.

• Able to read engineering drawings (AutoCAD/BIM knowledge preferred).
