Job Overview

We are looking for an agile and driven Project Engineer to oversee site executions, coordinate complex technical interfaces, and manage project lifecycles. Operating in a specialized sub-contractor capacity, you will work closely with top-tier tier-1 Main Contractors (such as Samsung C&T, GS Engineering, Obayashi, Shanghai Tunnel, and China Harbour) to ensure seamless delivery of structural, infrastructural, and M&E work packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Coordination: Manage daily site operations, ensuring progress aligns with project schedules for major civil, structural, or M&E work packages.

• Main Contractor & Client Interface: Serve as the primary technical point of contact on-site, coordinating closely with Main Contractors, consultants, and authorities (LTA, HDB, BCA).

• Technical Interface & Troubleshooting: Resolve site constraints, interpret structural/M&E drawings, and coordinate temporary works, structural modifications, or facility building works.

• Subcontractor & Resource Management: Supervise on-site direct labor and sub-vendors, ensuring efficient manpower allocation and material deployment.

• Progress Tracking & Documentation: Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, site inspection reports, and documentation for Final Measurement/Lump Sum progress claims.

• HSE Compliance: Enforce stringent workplace safety and health standards on-site in compliance with MOM and client requirements.

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related construction discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of site engineering experience in Singapore's construction sector.

• Project Exposure (Highly Preferred): * Direct experience working on LTA projects (tunnels, MRT stations, corridor developments).

  • Exposure to HDB term contracts/improvement works or major institutional/industrial projects (e.g., waste management plants, airport depots).

  • Clear understanding of the dynamics between Main Contractors and Sub-contractors.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit viewings, and Microsoft Project is an advantage.
