Safety Officer - #1165517

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

• Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.

• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions

• Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation

• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment by all workers

• Liaise with Operations Managers, supervisors, and external authorities

• Monitor high-risk activities (e.g. lifting, marine operations, machinery use)

Requirements:

• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM

• With 3 years relevant experience in construction, marine, or logistics industry preferred

• Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and safety standards

• Strong attention to detail and enforcement ability

• Good communication and reporting skills

• Able to work on-site and handle multiple locations if required
