• Location: near to MRT Novena

• Working Hours: 8:00am to 5:30pm OR 9:00am to 6:30pm OR 9:30am to 7:00pm

Job Summary

The Assistant Scientific Officer (Laboratory Operations) will support the daily operations of the laboratory, working closely with management and the laboratory team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee sample reception operations, ensuring compliance with laboratory accreditation (ISO 15189) and licensing (HCSA) requirements.

• Coordinate courier operations with the Operations Team, including liaising with appointed courier service providers to ensure timely specimen delivery and minimise delays in sample processing.

• Manage data-related activities, including processing surveillance forms and records, and performing data entry into relevant IT systems such as the Laboratory Information System (where applicable).

• This role requires participation in a rotational shift schedule.

• Support finance and procurement activities in collaboration with the operations – Finance & Procurement team and relevant business partners to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.

• Undertake any other duties as assigned.
